Truck modifications?

I have been working on fixing up my truck lately for a few reasons. First, it’s old. As an 89 Ford Bronco it’s older than I am, and it hasn’t had the best in terms of care. I’ve so far had the brake system replaced, put brand new tires on it, did the u-joints on the back drive line, and recently replaced the water pump! There is still a long way to go with it though, and I’m thinking making a list of things I plan to do with the truck is a good idea, mostly so I have everything written down somewhere and don’t forget my plans:

• Replace the fuel pump
• Replace the shocks
• Pull out the interior light wiring and fixtures
• Install a second battery
• Take out the bench seat
• Replace the flooring with some sort of vynil
• Plan and make the bed and shelves for the interior

The goal with my truck and the work I plan to put into it is simply so I can have a place that feels like a stable place to stay. I’ve never been able to keep an apartment, and while I enjoy the fruits of living with family I realize I’m more of a by myself person at least right now on the daily, but have no outlet to get there. I’m hoping to essentially turn my truck into a mobile tiny home that I can do nothing but record music and audio in it without having to worry about roommates or anyone being loud. At least nature in the backdrop of my recordings would sound better than people back and forth.

If anyone has ideas as to things I can do to improve my truck on a low budget please let me know! I plan to keep this updated with crossing off the things I do from this list, as well as add to it, so maybe in a year I can look back and hopefully see a list of progress!
